We are pleased to announce that we have recently appointed six of our staff to the position of Elementary House Coordinator. As House Coordinators, this team will be responsible for planning House Events, organising House Assemblies and supporting staff and students to meet the goals of the Elementary House System throughout the year. The new Coordinators are:
- Ms Christine Kelly – Red
- Ms Sara Schneeberg – Purple
- Ms Jules White – Green
- Mr Adrian Kirkby – Orange
- Ms Mariana Suarez – Yellow
- Ms Rebecca Tupling – Blue
First House Day – Day H Monday August 20
Our first House Day will be on Day H which is next Monday. On each Day H throughout the year, students will need to wear their coloured house shirt to school in place of their regular uniform polo top. On some of the House Days (Day H) the students will participate in a range of assemblies and events during the year.(Please note that this is a different day to secondary House Days.)
Next Monday, there are no specific ‘house events’ planned, but the coloured shirts will help each of the children identify other children from their house who are in their home class. This will particularly enable new students to start developing friendships with other students in their house.
