The Four Seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.They were a revolution in music. In them Vivaldi represented flowing creeks, singing birds, barking dogs, buzzing mosquitoes, crying shepherds, storms, drunken dancers, silent nights, hunting parties from both the hunters’ and the prey’s point of view, frozen landscapes, ice-skating children, and warming winter fires.

Dave Brubeck – Jazz pianist – died today (6-12-2012)
Dave Brubeck, famous American jazz pianist and composer, died today, age 91.
