What happens inside your voice box?
This video shows what happens when small cameras are fed into singer’s throats through their nose to observe wjhat happens when people sing. In the four images you can see the vocal folds, like a pair of lips, expanding and contracting when the singers sing different notes. When they are apart, the singer is breathing in and out.

Nina Nesbitt – young composer and performer
Nina Nesbitt is an up and coming singer/composer from Edinburgh in Scotland. She recently had a hit record in the UK charts called ‘Stay Out’ and is touring a lot around Europe at the moment. She writes all her own songs – and she’s just 19 years old!
