PLANNING is important, and students will always want to skip planning. Make a detailed plan mandatory.<\/li>\n<li>    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--info   hts-messages--withicon \"   >\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\tEach 2 minutes of video will take at least three hours of class time to plan\/edit\/finalize (times can vary depending on content)    \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-messages -->\r\n    \t\t<\/li>\n<li>    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--danger   hts-messages--withicon \"   >\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\tCamera shake and poor audio are the two biggest issues, so warn students to hold the camera steady\u00a0and get close to the action\/subject    \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-messages -->\r\n    \t\t<\/li>\n<li>Video is about communicating a message to an specific audience.<\/li>\n<li>Use student experts to help other students with editing.<\/li>\n<li>Students should be in small groups (one or two)\u00a0(else only one can edit at a time).<\/li>\n<li>Students can post the final products on YouTube as &#8220;Unlisted&#8221; then get the URL sent to you via Veracross or Google Classroom.<\/li>\n<li>    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--success   hts-messages--withicon \"   >\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\tConsider allowing\/requiring\u00a0online feedback for the student videos (either by peers, teacher, or a wider audience)    \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-messages -->\r\n    \t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--info  hts-messages--withtitle hts-messages--withicon \"   >\r\n    \t\t\t<span class=\"hts-messages__title\">Be sure students are aware of these things!<\/span>    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update OS to the newest OS version.<\/li>\n<li>Update all applications to\u00a0newest\u00a0version.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure 20GB free space on storage.<\/li>\n<li>Quit other applications (not force quit).
