Teachers have <strong>Licensed<\/strong> accounts. This video shows how to open the app for the first time on a NIST iPad, set student name, and accept all pop-ups.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Ac969rO2BRM\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Watch this short video which explains how Ele students use Zoom<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This video shows the student how to join with the Class Zoom icon, mute\/unmute mic, raise their hand, and how to leave the meeting.<\/span><\/li><li>If a student switches to another application on their iPad, his\/her video will stop, so you can ask them to switch back to Zoom.<\/li><li>Students should never&nbsp;start&nbsp;a meeting of their own. Will you ask participants to use them?<\/li><li>Is or should the waiting room be enabled?<\/li><li>Should participants be allowed to rename themselves?<\/li><li>Should participants be allowed to unmute themselves?<\/li><li>Should participants be allowed to turn on video?<\/li><li>Is annotation turned on\/off?<\/li><li>Should focus mode be enabled (where host sees all videos, but participants only see host)?<\/li><li>Are removed participants allowed to rejoin?<\/li><li>Have you enabled do not disturb on the device you are running the Zoom meeting (to have no pop-up notifications or sounds)?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Administrative Tips<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scheduling Interviews for Others<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A user can assign or delegate a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4409284463885\">user or multiple users in your account<\/a>&nbsp;to schedule meetings on your behalf.&nbsp;<\/li><li>When scheduling a meeting, the host can designate&nbsp;another Licensed user at NIST to be an alternative host or hosts. Any alternative host can start the meeting on the host&#8217;s behalf.&nbsp;<\/li><li>According to Zoom, the recording settings for the interview will be determined by the settings on the host account. <\/li><li>Office staff with a Licensed account can create scheduled Zoom Meetings for interviews. <\/li><li>Licensed users on can host up to 2 meetings at the same time but not on the same device. Both meetings need to be started by the original meeting host or by an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/208220166-Alternative-host\">alternative host<\/a>. The host can leave the meeting and pass host privileges to another user if needed.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enable Share Screen on First use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This only has to be done the very first time you open Zoom on your macbook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first time you try to share your screen, zoom will ask you permission to share your screen.
