Please try them out and see if they appeal to you. As always, please don&#8217;t hesitate to contact one of your friendly DLCs for clarification.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Preview Pane<\/span><\/p>\n<p>One of the most immediate reactions a new user has to Gmail is that there is no quick way to scroll through emails to find what they&#8217;re looking for. Enter Preview Pane (not to be confused with &#8216;Pain&#8217;, unless it&#8217;s an email you&#8217;d rather not read!). Under settings, choose &#8216;Labs&#8217; at the top. Among the options, you&#8217;ll find &#8216;Preview Pane&#8217;. Enable it and then Save Changes at the bottom. You will see a new button on your main Gmail page.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/eleict\/files\/2015\/11\/Screen-Shot-2015-11-23-at-2.42.43-PM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3284 aligncenter\" src=\"\/eleict\/files\/2015\/11\/Screen-Shot-2015-11-23-at-2.42.43-PM.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2015-11-23 at 2.42.43 PM\" width=\"160\" height=\"106\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Play around with vertical vs horizontal split and see what you like best!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Unread Message Icon<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Once again, under Settings &#8211;&gt; Advanced, you&#8217;ll find Unread Message Icon. Enabling this will allow you to quickly see if you have any new emails in your browser. If you right-click on any tab and choose &#8216;Pin Tab&#8217;, that tab will move to the left and take up much less space. I&#8217;d recommend pinning your Gmail, Calendar, and Drive tabs so that they are easily accessible.
