One feature that is often overlooked in Google Docs is the Explore Tool. This tool allows you to search for materials within any Google Document. For example, you might want to find out more information about Earth Day.
Under tools, click Explore and a window will appear on the right hand side.
Click on the Search Box and you can limit your search to particular items like images or quotes.
Other features include the Learn More, Cite and Insert Image options. As you might expect, the Learn More allows you to see the site in a new tab; the Cite feature adds the required information in a footnote; and insert image adds the selected image to your doc.
