Kami is an extension and an account that allows you to easily annotate pdfs and share them with students. This page explains the usage of Kami at NIST. Kami has been paid for one year, so all users can get the full version of Kami at no additional cost to the school.
Getting Started
For Students:
- Students can install individually from the Chrome Webstore with this link: https://kami.app/extension.
- Students can sign in their using their NIST Google account.
For Teachers:
- Kami has some really helpful youtube videos
- Go to https://www.kamiapp.com and create a Kami login using your school Google account.
- Get the Kami Chrome extension at: https://kami.app/extension

- Start using Kami! open web.kamiapp.com/web/viewer.html or simply click on the (K) icon in your Chrome extensions bar.
