Document Cameras or Visualizers

  • An iPad can also do the same function.
  • Some ELE classrooms are equipped with document cameras (Elmo style). Document cameras or visualizers can be used to show anything on a data projector (objects, papers, actions, brush strokes, penmanship, closeups, etc.).
  • Using Computer and Visualizer Intermittently

The one setup trick that might not be so obvious is to connect the device to the projector and then connect your computer to the device. When you want to use visualizer, you can. When you want to see the computer screen, you can simply flick a button on the device to allow the computer signal to pass through.
