Flipgrid Guide

This page explains the usage of nist.flipgrid.org at NIST. Flipgrid is now free, so all users can get the full version of Flipgrid at no cost.
Be sure to go to NIST Flipgrid

Our NIST URL is nist.flipgrid.org not nist.flipgrid.com.

Why are we using it?

Flipgrid is an excellent way to have a shared discussion in video format with comments. Students get a wider audience for their ideas in an efficient way for teachers. We should add links to the grids they create in their Veracross assignment descriptions so that parents/support teachers will have access. Be careful not to take away from existing tools (e.g. it may be best to continue using Seesaw or blogs/portfolios for certain things).
