For Students:

- Enrolling in classes
using your NIST email address and Names Used at NIST
teacher will provide ClassID and enrollment password - Submitting a paper as a student
For Teachers:
- During the summer, all new secondary school teachers are invited to create a turnitin account. If you were not invited but need an account, please send an email to veracross@nist.ac.th requesting the Turnitin welcome email.
- Follow the instructions in the email to create your account.
- Then use this Turnitin Quick Start Guide to make a Class AND an Assignment.
- Making a class (Instructions below in QuickStart Guide, but please consider these NIST-Specific points).
* use Yr Level and Subject followed by any other info. (e.g. Y07 Science , Y10 English, Y12 Economics SL, Y12 Mandarin B)
* Do not need to import student list. Have them join your class. - Creating an assignment (Instructions below in QuickStart Guide, but please consider these NIST-Specific points).
- under More Options, you can fine tune to include/exclude small matches, quoted material, and bibliographic information to refine the originality reports
- the school advocates making the class show originality reports by default (teachers can block originality reporting on any individual assignment if needed)
- the school advocates using immediately (can overwrite reports until due date)
- exclude bibliographic material
- exclude quoted materials
- exclude small matches (3 words)
- allow students to see originality reports
- Ability to view Originality Reports

- ordinarily, students will submit their own papers
- if a teacher wants to submit, they can submit as instructor
