The following are the steps to move all the posts and content in your NIST blog to a new personal WordPress.com blog account, so that you can access it after you’ve left NIST. Although the contents of your NIST WordPress account can be transferred to other non-Wordpress blogs (ie. Blogger, Squarespace, etc..), the process is smoothest going from our NIST WordPress-to-Wordpress.com, so that’s we’ll show you here.
STEP 1: Sign into your NIST blog on computer
(at blogs.nist.ac.th).

STEP 2: Go to TOOLS section and click on EXPORT.

STEP 3: Click on DOWNLOAD EXPORT FILE
(Make sure “All Contents” is selected).

STEP 4: Create a new blog on www.wordpress.com using a personal email (this is the free site).
 |
STEP 5: Once you are logged into this new blog that you create, go to TOOLS and then click on IMPORT.

STEP 6: Make sure you select WORDPRESS from the Import type list.

STEP 7: Click the CHOOSE FILE button, navigate to and select the file you exported earlier, and then click UPLOAD FILE AND IMPORT.
