Last week, EleICT presented to a full house of parents. Our presentation focused on how iPads are being used to enhance student learning. To do this, we brought in the experts: students in Y2-5 demonstrated various tools in quick rotations known as “Speed Geeking” (like speed dating). The kids were a hit, and hopefully we will have an opportunity to do something similar with students and staff. At the conclusion of the workshop, we showed a video that we had recorded and edited on an iPad during the workshop. It highlighted the effeciency in which one can create quality content on an iPad. (Watch out for a cameo by Jay.) The parents were all very enthusiastic about the great things you are doing in your classrooms, and it was fun to brag a little bit about our great teachers and students.
